We specialise in supporting world-changing projects and have helped over 1000 ventures raise over $15 million AUD. We are proud to have the highest project success rate in cause crowdfunding at 53%, and we work hard to give every project on our site the advice and support they need to succeed.

What kind of Pacific do you want to create?

General elegibility

  • The product or service must be a social enterprise initiative.

  • The product or service must have the ability to expand internationally or regionally.

  • The product or service must be based in one of these Pacific Island countries: Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Republic of the Marshall Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Vanuatu or Tuvalu. 

  • Applicants must be committed to sharing the learnings and outcomes of the program with UNDP.

  • Applicants must be willing and able to run a crowdfunding campaign during Monday 17 February - Sunday 15 March 2020.

  • Applicants must have regular access to internet and be able to participate in live coaching sessions and during Monday 6 January - Sunday 16 February 2020.

Assessment Criteria

  • The product or service must be able to create impact in the Pacific. 

  • The product or service must have the ability to reach international or regional audiences.

  • Applicants must demonstrate the project's viability for the crowdfunding campaign.

  • Applicants must show evidence that preparation has been done to begin the project when the crowdfunding campaign concludes.

  • Applicants must express a desire to fully participate in the program, learn marketing tactics and launch a successful crowdfunding campaign.

UNDP and StartSomeGood want to support you, through the creation and launch of your enterprise's crowdfunding campaign.

Only six enterprises will be selected for The Pacific Crowdfunding Challenge.

Once selected you will be supported by the social enterprise fundraising experts at StartSomeGood to get you ready to run a compelling crowdfunding campaign for your initiative. 

If you haven't crowdfunded before, don't worry! This program isn't about throwing you in the deep end. It's about teaching you how to craft a great campaign using everything StartSomeGood has learned through supporting over 1,000 successful fundraisers, with the highest project success rate in cause-crowdfunding.

If you are selected for The Pacific Crowdfunding challenge you will have access to: 

Personalised feedback and support from our Crowdfunding coaches as well as weekly group calls with them.
Access to premium online video resources and templates.

Access to a videographer that will help you capture your story so you can widen your reach and maximise your success!
